sweater dress outfit: fur vest. denim shirt. booties

Wearing a sweater dress with a denim shirt and fur vest. Loving this dress because it is so comfortable, great length, and its very versatile. I belted the fur vest to give my waist definition and to create a bit more polished look.

boyfriend jeans outfit with oversized tunic sweater: mom on duty style to date night

Mom on duty style to date night by simply changing out sneakers for pumps....well, and maybe a clutch instead of the extra-large mom bag! When pairing a oversized or loose fitting top with boyfriend jeans, make sure the jeans are slimmer. This way you will not look too sloppy or get lost in your clothes. I have two pairs of these jeans in different sizes so I have the option of more fitted or baggy. My top was $9 and jeans $15!

outfit details:
sweater - Wal-Mart
jeans - Old Navy
sneakers - Nike
pumps - Chinese Laundry

(faux) leather leggings and sneakers outfit: plaid coat. plaid flannel shirt. floral scarf. beanie. tennis shoes

This outfit is so fun! Faux leather leggings or pants can seem intimidating...possibly too sexy for everyday, but when worn with more casual items it works! I have paired my favorite sneakers with a long flannel shirt and plaid coat. If mixing prints seems scary, try to stick with all the same color palette to ensure it will work, like shown here. O.K., so the real leather leggings are from Wal-Mart! Someone I follow on Instagram (kari.montgomery) is always singing the praises of Wal-Mart leggings, but I was skeptical to say the least. My last leggings from there were awful and barely went past my knee! That was a few years ago, so I decided to give it another go. So happy I did, and they were only around 13 bucks. Give them a try!
