olive utility jacket with striped tee, blanket scarf, felt hat and fringe bag

Basics I can mix, match, and wear over and over and OVER again are my favorite pieces to fill my closet with.  This outfit sums up that love of simple but classic pieces reworked for a perfectly stylish and functional fall outfit. I would be lost without any one of these staples, and wear at least a couple of them on the weekly.  The best news is my outfit is can be recreated with super inexpensive items...minus the shoes and bag, which I would argue are still pretty affordable at around 100 bucks. Spending a little more for leather shoes and a leather bag is such a wise use of funds because it takes any outfit up several notches and usually the items will last longer.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Audra
