I have pinned so many similar looks of a jean jacket layered under a winter coat on my Pinterest board "denim jackets outfits". I LOVE the way the denim jacket adds a cool, casual vibe to the dressier long winter coat. It not only adds warmth, but give us a excuse to break that long coat for more than special occasions. I like how I've buttoned the denim jacket and left the coat open, but it also looks super fab with both jacket left open paired with a chunky knit scarf. I paired this outfit with my Frye boots for a little edgy, retro feel, but sneakers would work too!! And, of course as soon as I sit down all my fur babies need love!! They are three miniature dachshunds each with very different personalities! They were my babies before my babies!!
