This one has a drawstring waist which makes it so easiest to accentuate the waist when you feel like it or not! Options, and what girl doesn't love options?!! Looking at my beauty! Isn't she gorgeous?! On to the outfit! I have been wearing these olive leggings on repeat the last couple weeks. Well, they are actually called jeggings (they have back pockets). They are super thick so could definitely get away with wearing them as pants. The added seaming detail down the front gives them a little something special. I really enjoy them with this oversized sweater dress/tunic shown here or with a tunic top and a long cardi. The grey of the sweater dress pairs nicely with the tan shearling vest or the dress is fab all by itself for a more causal feel. My wardrobe is all about easy to mix and match pieces. This is especially true when I pick out more formal pieces to add to the mix such as dresses. I love a dress that is a solid color so it will easily coordinate with pretty much anything! Add pumps for more formal wear or boots or tennis shoes...or literally any shoes you'd like!, wear out for date night or to church, and everywhere in-between. scarf and belt I grabbed this SCARF on Amazon not expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality! I love the vintage feel and that the little tassels go all the way around the edge. The BELT was my beloved Aunt's that passed away from cancer many years ago. It's very special to me.
embroidered chambray shirt When I saw this SHIRT I knew it had to be mine!! What drew me in was the tonal embroidery detail and the tiniest bit of distressing...well, and it was on sale!! I think this would look cute with white sneakers and a ball cap, too!! Sadly its sold out. I did link it incase a store near you might still have it. trench coat For a more sophisticated feel add a trench. Always. End of Story. I really like this TRENCH because it is available in TALL sizing and petite, but also really like THIS ONE because its water resistant and comes with a hood. denim vest A denim vest, dress, and cowboy boots gives me all the retro feels. I really like the contrast of the lighter wash of the vest against the darker blue of the dress. I scored this Ralph Lauren vest off ThredUp so linking some other options below.
blazer This may be my favorite look of them all! I do love a blazer outfit and have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to the topic! A blazer is always a good add to any outfit! Just like the trench coat, a blazer adds a touch of class and chicness to any outfit! This blazer was another ThredUp score. Anytime I find myself in front of a clearance rack I look for blazers on the off chance there's one in my size. I've found some great deals this way, and you really can't go wrong with adding another blazer to your closet.
